The University of Piraeus Network Operations Center (NOC), which has been operating since December 1996, is responsible for overseeing the operation of the University of Piraeus Network. The University of Piraeus Network consists of the unified voice and data network, which extends throughout the University buildings, and the network services offered through it.

The main activities of the NOC include :

• The management of telecommunications and network equipment and cable infrastructure.
• The management of network services.
• The technical support of users on network and network services issues.
• Research and development through the relevant procedures of the Institution.

The rules of organization and operation of the NOC, as well as the procedures followed internally, aim at ensuring the completeness and quality of the services provided, in accordance with the applicable legislation, academic ethics and the decisions of the Institution.
