Responsibilities of the Computerisation Department

The responsibilities of the Department of Computerisation are distributed as follows:

  • Collecting data, producing and checking results in administrative applications.
  • The provision of technical support on hardware.
  • Operating and supervising the proper functioning of the equipment.
  • Controlling the procurement of equipment and consumables, monitoring maintenance contracts.
  • Checking and inputting the data into the computer.
  • System software support.
  • The design, development and implementation of student affairs, financial and personnel applications and special applications.
  • Supporting scientific applications.
  • Supporting workshops and training seminars.
  • The maintenance and enrichment of the pre-program collection.
  • The documentation of scientific programmes, general-purpose programmes and the provision of training services in them.
  • Informing and training staff on issues related to the applications.
