On the 3rd of October, at the premises of the University of Piraeus and specifically at the Conference Room, the International Relations Office held its reknown Welcoming Meeting/event with all the Incoming Erasmus Students of the Winter Semester of the Academic Year 2024/2025. 

At the meeting were the Head of IRO, Dr. Christina Kontogoulidou along with the Mr. Alexandros Tsoraklidis & Ms. Georgia Liapi, charged with the Incoming Erasmus of KA131 & KA171 respectively.  A lot of information, crucial for the Erasmus Student Mobility and also the facilities of the University of Piraeus, were sharte with the Students, in order to get them to be familiar with the whole procedure and our University.

At the Welcoming Ceremony, were also the Academic Coordinators of:

1. Department of Economics, Associate Professor Drivas Kyriakos,
2. Department of Industrial Mangement & Technology, Associate Professor Ioannis Giannatsis,
3. Department of Informatics, Professor Dimitris Vergados,
4. Department of Tourism Department, Assistant Professor Alexandra Paraskevi Chytiri

The Academic Coordinators greeted the students and welcomed them into the University of Piraeus and to their new academic experience.

ESN were also at the Welcoming of the Erasmus Students, explaining their role to the University and their aim to be next to the Student and help them to their new academic and social adventure. 

Our Welcoming Ceremony had also its cultural turn. We visited the Ancient Temple of Poseidon, situated in Cape Sounion and informed the studetns about the Emblem of University of Piraeus. We concluded our Welcoming, with a trip to the greek cuizine at a local tavern.
