Piraeus, 27th September 2024 PRESS RELEASE 6th Erasmus+ International Staff Week of the University of Piraeus & 3rd International Staff
Line: Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) & Metro Line 1 (Green Line)
Route: Take Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) from the airport to Monastiraki Station, then transfer to Metro Line 1 (Green Line) towards Piraeus.
Stop: Get off at “Piraeus” Station and take a short bus or taxi ride to the university.
Duration: Approximately 70 minutes.
Cost: €9 for a one-way ticket (€4.50 for children, students, and seniors). A 3-day tourist ticket (€20) is also available.
Operating Hours: 06:30 – 23:30 (trains every 30 minutes).
Bus Number: X96 Express Bus
Route: Direct from the airport to Piraeus.
Stop: Get off at “Terpsithea” or “Dimarcheio” (Piraeus City Hall), a short walk from the university.
Duration: 80-90 minutes, depending on traffic.
Cost: €5.50 for adults (€2.70 for reduced fares).
Operating Hours: 24/7 (buses every 20-30 minutes).
Where to Board: The bus stop is located outside Exit 5 at the Arrivals level.
Availability: Available 24/7 outside the Arrivals level.
Duration: Around 45-55 minutes (longer during peak hours).
Cost: Flat rate of €54 during the day (05:00-24:00), €70 at night (00:00-05:00).
Additional Info: Official airport taxis are yellow with a taxi sign.
