Information
Georgios Papayiannis is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics and Insurance Science of the University of Piraeus. His research interests lie in the areas of: (a) robust decision making and its applications in actuarial science, finance, energy and environment, (b) learning from multiple information sources and construction of optimal aggregate models, (c) risk modelling and quantification under model uncertainty and (d) statistical learning approaches for complex data structures. He participates to international research projects as a member of the research groups involved supporting research issues related to quantitative analysis and statistical modelling. His research works have been published to peer-reviewed scientific journals and as book chapters in scientific volumes.
